Walk Around National Mall
A marriage proposal is one of the biggest moments of anyone’s life. Eric Zoepfl was ready with the ring and the plan: proposal during a date at one of the Smithsonian Museums they frequent so much. Well, they closed down, so Eric changed his plans with Taylor Hiden and they took a walk, with proper social distance, around the National Mall. That’s when Eric’s mom and sister decorated the apartment Taylor and Eric lived in and when they walked in, he proposed!
Video chats are how they are telling everyone the news as they have self-quarantined. The only issue was the bride-to-be’s parents couldn’t fly-out for the proposal.
It’s OK to change plans. Make it safe and memorable.
Wedding Via Zoom and Google Hangouts

Instead of eloping, the couple realized they could have their “wedding” with their friends…online! They sent everyone an invite to a Zoom meeting and their friends logged on but after 40 minutes, it kicked everyone off! Watch out for those free versions! There was another stream on Google hangouts and another friend also moved everyone to their corporate Zoom account.
And then the magic happened and the couple read their vows, or stories of why they loved each other and the guests were crying, toasting and laughing.
Love during the Coronavirus Pandemic!
It’s hard on everyone right now and everyone should stay safe, follow the guidelines as best as you can. Change plans and make it work!
Marriage proposals and weddings can still be memorable during all of this!
